WSA Davis 3 was completed to a depth of 48.77 metres into a layer of silt within clays of the Bearpaw formation. Davis 3 is intended to provide information on pore pressures and water quality within the Bearpaw Formation.

The hydrograph for Davis 3 shows water levels at Davis 2 generally range between 1104.3 to 1104.7 metres above sea level. The maximum water level was encountered in the spring of 2022 at 1104.7 metres above sea level above sea level, while the minimum water level was reached in the fall of 2021 at 1104.3 metres above sea level. Annual changes appear to be affected by seasonal fluctuations.

Water quality in Davis 3 is of the sodium-bicarbonate type with a sum of ion concentration of 485 mg/L.
